Before you schedule your luxury hair experience through our online booking link, kindly review our policies to ensure a seamless appointment process.
Booking online
If your preferred appointment slot isn’t available, please reserve the nearest available slot and mention your desired appointment time and date in the comments. We strive to align with your preferences and will consider you for our regularly updated cancellation list.
One of our friendly team members will confirm your online reservation via a call during our opening hours, which are:
Wednesday: 10am – 8pm
Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Friday: 10am – 6pm
Saturday, Sunday & Monday: Closed
For Saturday appointments, our sister salon Eden Hair Energy and Canberra Hair Extensions in Dickson ACT is open 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Consultations
Considering a major transformation? At Hare and Fawn, we suggest a 15-minute pre-appointment consultation to get the most out of your appointment. The consultation is priced at $50, but if you book a service during your consultation, $25 will be credited towards it, unless you reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time.
Opting for a consultation at the time of your hair appointment might reduce the time allocated for your treatment.
Please note that a consultation is a requirement for services relating to hair extensions.
Deposits
For services exceeding $100, a deposit of $100 is required. For those under $100, full payment is due upfront.
Confirming your appointment
To ensure your reserved appointment slot with Hare and Fawn, please confirm your appointment by replying ‘YES’ to our reminder text sent 72 hours prior. If you need to reschedule, call us; to cancel, reply ‘CANCEL’ or ‘NO’, but remember our deposit policy for cancellations.
Without confirmation by noon the salon day preceding your appointment (for Tuesday bookings, this is by Friday noon), we’ll offer your slot to our waitlist, and your deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit will be required for future bookings.
Appointment preparation
For optimal results, please wash your hair within the 48 hours preceding your visit and avoid heavy product use. Excessive build-up, especially from dry shampoos or colour sprays, can disrupt colour applications. Should we need to wash your hair before a colour treatment, additional charges may apply.
Timing
At Hare and Fawn, your booking is set for a specific time and service. Our stylist will aim to achieve your desired look within that frame. If your goal requires more than the time booked for it, we’ll collaboratively craft a plan to help you reach your goal in subsequent appointments.
If we have availability at the time of your appointment to provide you with the extra time required, it will incur a charge of $130 per hour or $32.50 per 15-minute segment.
Payment methods
Choose from a variety of payment methods, encompassing popular debit and credit cards, inclusive of AMEX. To make visiting our Queanbeyan hair salon even more convenient, we also offer options like Zip Pay, ensuring you’re able to enjoy the luxury experience we offer while comfortably managing your finances.
Cancellation policy
Rescheduling or cancelling appointments within 48 salon hours will forfeit your booking deposit.

Conveniently situated opposite Riverside Plaza, we’re ideally placed for our cherished clients not only from Queanbeyan but also from neighbouring areas, including Canberra, Goulburn, Yass, Cooma, and Bungendore.
For those driving to their appointments, you’ll find a bunch of free parking bays behind the salon, which you can access via 260 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan.
